I soaped at 7% PPO, oils and lye water at 90 degrees and did not use any clays. The scent retention is medium.at 1 year BUT I soaped at over 1.5% more than the mur for cat 9. No problems with ricing, acceleration or discoloration.
Oob this is a very pretty floral that reminds me of honeysuckle with green notes. It loses some of the nuances in CP.
I would recommend this fo for either body lotions or linen sprays.
Out of the bottle, this is a pretty floral with the right amount of green notes. I don't know what magnolias are suppose to smell like. This fragrance is in the neighborhood of a honeysuckle.
The low mur for CP could be an issue. I tested it at 7% PPO, despite the mur only being 5.33%. My sample is 1 year old and the scent is still there. No discoloration, no ricing, and no acceleration. I think at 5% PPO, it will be a light scent in CP. Also, the fragrance is not as fresh and pleasant in CP as it is oob.
It is a pretty scent and I absolutely would use it in lotions or even a room spray.
This fragrance is out of this world. It smells exactly like magnolias. I like that the scent is very strong and it lasts. It only takes a little to get the experience of this amazing fragrance. I will definitely be ordering more. I have used it in my home and vehicle and it is just a pleasant fragrance.
