Workable In CP Soap with Right Design

I purchased this oil a while ago before there were reviews for use in CP soap. I saw the review for ricing and acceleration, and planned a layered soap where I mixed each layer separately to use the acceleration to my advantage. I worked around the ricing by incorporating the fragrance into the batch oils first before splitting into separate containers for layers. With this method, I was able to not have ricing. I used a mini mixer to mix each layer with the lye water instead of a full immersion blender to minimize the acceleration. It still accelerated significantly, but I had adequate time to pour each layer evenly and at a decently fluid trace. I was even able to do a nice texture to the top without graininess before it set up too firm. The other review also noted it turned the batter orange, so I used a coral pink mica to use the color morph to my advantage, and it turned the coral to a lovely rose color. It definitely color morphs, so plan a color that will morph well with deep orange. So, because I was able to successfully work around the issues with planning, I'm giving it 5 stars because the scent is truly incredible. It is in the fall scent realm, but it has enough apple and vanilla that it could be used year round as a warm, slightly spicy scent. I would not attempt swirls with it in soap, as it moves too fast, but if you're willing to mix layers separately or do a solid color, and work with the discoloration, it really does sing in CP soap.
