This fragrance oil divides opinions on strength but wins praise for its complex scent profile. Customers said it's a "top selling men's scent" that's "dark and decadent" with "so many layers." While some find it weak out of the bottle, others love its unisex appeal in soaps, beard oils, and lotions, noting juniper, cedar, and subtle rain notes.

  • It is my top selling men's scent, especially in our beard oils and soaps.
  • It has so many layers and so much depth. Perfect.
  • It is surprisingly dark and decadent. This fragrance is quite unusual and is becoming a favorite.

Black Cedarwood and Juniper

I found this fragrance through a friend and when I ran out of the small amount she had I had to purchase more! It is my top selling men's scent, especially in our beard oils and soaps. We do not call it by this name because my whole line is Twisted Soaper so I tend to go with fun **** names, with a lot of tongue in cheek naughty.

Very weak OOB

I tried to give it the benefit of doubt despite the scent being very weak out of the bottle. Used this FO was in Smackwack 136 as well as 454 and neither had a good cold throw or hot throw.

Very great unisex scent

I absolutely love this one. My only complaint is that it is very weak, especially compared to all other fragrancebuddy scents. But the original JM is weak as well so there is that comparison.

Give it a chance...and some time.

OOB this smelled medicinal. It reminded me of my grandmother's hairspray and it had notes of alcohol. But as with all FO's they need to be tested out before a decision is made. It is not a traditional scent so don't expect it to be. I mixed it in lotion. It is surprisingly dark and decadent. I picked up on the juniper first, and then after a time I detected the chili leaves, and lastly, as it calms on the skin, I actually got rain mixed with a little cedar. This fragrance is quite unusual and is becoming a favorite.

not what I expected

Jo malone dupes are either a hit or a miss... oob this one I wasnt convinced but after soaping (cp) I have to admit I love this scent.. it has so many layers and so much depth. No acc no discolor no rice. Perfect. I need to get a big bottle.. I think it will do well in lotion as well.. its a great unisex scent, leaning towards masculine but im a girl and I love it lol =p
