AFI Premium Soy Container Wax 4400

A 100% all natural wax with a melt point of 125°F. This wax is formulated to resist fat bloom and hold higher fragrance loads. It provides a great color and creamy finish. Similar to our 4600 soy wax, the higher melt point of 4400 makes this wax a recommended choice for large-scale candle makers that use more automated pouring processes.

Applications: Container Candles

Form: 100% Soy, Small Flakes

Fragrance Load: 6%-10%

Melt Point: 125˚

Pour Temp: 135˚-145˚

Usage Instructions

Heating: Heat wax to approximately 185°
Fragrance: Allow the wax to cool to around 175˚ and add fragrance, stirring gently but thoroughly for at least a minute.
Pouring: Pour at temperatures between 130° to 145°, though experimentation is recommended to determine the optimal pouring temperature.
Cooling: Allow candles to cool as slowly as possible to achieve excellent jar adhesion and a smooth finish.
Curing: Wait at least 1 week before burning candles.
