Shipping
Fragrance Buddy processes orders from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Carrier options are available at checkout; please select the carrier that best suits your needs. We are closed on major holidays, so please place orders accordingly if you need items by a certain date! This means our small team is often busy during the holidays, so turnaround times may be slightly delayed.
What shipping methods are available?
All of our fragrance oils are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Choose the best shipping method for you at checkout.
What is your turnaround time?
Orders placed before 5:00 pm EST will be shipped the following business day. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed the following Monday. Please prepare ahead of time during the busy holiday months when turnaround times may be slightly extended due to large order volume.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not currently offer international shipping.
Bottles & Packaging
Fragrance Buddy bottles fragrance oils in house by weight. Each bottle is hand-poured by our fragrance experts to ensure you are getting exactly what you paid for. We use amber bottles to protect fragrance oils from UV light.
Why are some bottles fuller than others?
Fragrance oils are sold by weight, not volume. Because fragrance oils vary in density, some bottles may appear more/less full than others in your order even though they are the same quantity by weight.
Why are my fragrance oils different colors?
Fragrance oils are made with many different raw materials (AKA ingredients) that come in all colors and textures. Certain fragrances may look darker if they have lots of rich compounds, especially ones like vanilla, tonka, or sandalwood.
What is the shelf life of your fragrance oils?
If stored away from direct UV light, sealed tightly in it's original container, and not mixed with any water or fillers in the bottle, our fragrance oils can last for 1 to 2 years depending on their contents. As a general rule of thumb, if the fragrance smells normal with a sniff test, it's good to go! Fragrance oils will not go moldy overtime because thye have no water content.
Returns & Exchanges
Do you offer returns?
Due to the nature of fragrance oils, we cannot accept returns unless you receive the wrong items or they are damaged in shipment. We encourage you to purchase 1 oz. sample bottles to test the smell and performance of our fragrances in your desired applications before purchasing larger sizes.
What if I got the wrong items?
Once you receive your package, notify us via email or phone within 48 hours with your order number so we can make the exchange.
What if my items were damaged in shipping?
If you received bottles that have broken or leaked, refuse the shipment from your carrier so we can work with you to make a return. If your package arrived while you were away, contact them immediately and email us your claim number after filing with the carrier. Unfortunately, it is out of our control if a carrier damages a packages after it leaves our facilities.
